Projekt, którego celem była identyfikacja obszarów o największej różnorodności gatunkowej roślin na świecie. Powstał w 1988 pod auspicjami IUCN oraz WWF i został przedstawiony w trzech tomach wydanych w latach 1994-1997. Koordynatorzy Projektu: V. H. Heywood i S. D. Davis.
